We’ve had an extremely busy but exiting month of October. Our Annual Charity Ball was a great success raising £1,42100 for the Charity. This was held at the Prenton Golf Club who provided us with a lovely venue and excellent service all going to make such an enjoyable and successful event. We were entertained by Wilde Humphrey, The Fact Master who amazed us with his knowledge of historical dates and facts associated with them. We also had an awards presentation that was sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care who presented awards to two of our members who have outstanding achievements over the year; there is more about this in the news letter.
Our Charity Christmas Cards have been produced by one of our members and we are so proud of her for pursuing her art work despite sight loss. Christmas cards are now on sale form Ashville Lodge.
We have some lovely news to report on this month and we hope you enjoy reading our October edition of Keeping In Touch. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members, supporters and friends; it is through you we are able to continue providing services to people with sight loss.
